Here's what OUR high school (now the Summit Middle School) looked like in January 2007. Does it look familiar? Even without beer cans on the lawn?

Welcome to the website for the Summit High School Class of '57!

Our 50th reunion happened on Oct. 12-14, 2007 as scheduled, and what a FABULOUS time it was!  To refresh your memories as to
what we used to look like, here is a link to pictures of all of us
FROM THE TOP , our high school yearbook.  You might need a bit of patience waiting for the photo album to download, but it's worth the wait!  A list of all who attended the 50th reunion is on the Past Reunions page, and you will also find there links to many selections of movies and photos from all of our past reunions.  Enjoy!

At the moment we have no future reunion plans, but when things start cookin' again, this is the place you'll find out!  Admittedly, nothing much has happened on this website in the past year or so since the 50th, but one never knows when that will change . . .

We will however never change the fabulous music available to you while you're exploring the site; just make sure you "x" out of the Neil Diamond "Back to the Future" song (in the little pop-up box) before you try one of the alternate selections on this page.  If the little box has disappeared, you'll find it hiding somewhere behind the top "window."

Our class pack rat saved the famous "Harmonaires" LP made by our great SHS '57 quartet--Tom Ludlow, Gil Low, Webb VanWinkle, and Jim Blades--and their singing has been amazingly well preserved for 50 years.  To start the LP,
click here.  Use the player controls to go directly to your favorite songs, or let the entire album play in the background as you go to other pages on the website.  You can also flash back to our high school years by rolling up the rugs and clicking here for Rock 'n Roll favorites . . . or, less energetically, you can sit back, relax, and get soggy with a selection of Pop songs--click here.

We are still waiting for ALL of you to join your class and sign yourself in on the "Hi Classmates" page!  Updating what's already there is also strongly encouraged.  There's nothing worse than a bunch of old stale news.   We accept no excuses about your lack of computer skills!  If Billy Scheck, Bill Butler, and Vic Guadagno can figure it out, SO CAN YOU!

Please have FUN exploring the site!  If you have ideas to improve or add to it, please let us know.   We'd love to hear your opinions--about anything but politics and religion--on the "Bloggin' here" page.  Have fun!
